In the latter half of 2003, I got a driver's license and began exploring connecticut quite extensively. Possibly to make up for a life lacking in real pleasure or excitement, I sought out the most intense experiences I could find hidden in connecticut: hardcore shows and abandoned buildings. I wanted to get kicked in the face, I wanted to cut my hands on rusty steel, and I wanted to find the beauty in all of it.
This was also when I uncovered my fascination with color and texture, which would follow me to this day.
